History of the Area
The National Military History Center, formerly known as the World War II Victory Museum, contains one of the world’s most impressive collections of artifacts from the Second World War. The collection includes approximately 150 vehicles and hundreds of uniforms, weapons, and smaller artifacts. The majority of this collection comes from the Ardennes Forest region of Belgium and includes many rare and, sometimes, the only known surviving examples of certain pieces.
This incredible museum complex is actually three-in-one; WWII, classic cars, and American heritage.  The Classic Car Museum includes 17th century royal coaches, presidential cars, covered wagons, race cars, and many of the well known television cars like “General Lee”, “Kit” and the “Bat Mobile”.
